Crafted from sustainable mango wood, the Daruka salt and pepper set is hand-carved by skilled makers. The mango trees are initially grown for their fruit, harvested over a number of years. Once the trees have stopped bearing fruit, they can be cut down and used to make items from their beautiful wood.
To care for your wood wash in warm soapy water, rinse and dry immediately. Due to the natural beauty of these items there may be changes to the colour over time. To nourish and protect the natural wood rub an edible oil such as olive oil or walnut oil into the surface with a dry cloth.
